Give for the Gorge

Evoke Winery is now a proud participating sponsor of Give for the Gorge

The Columbia River Gorge is an extraordinary place to visit, play and live. Now you have the chance to give back to the Gorge, helping to ensure that the magic of this place endures for generations to come.

Give for the Gorge is a fundraising program that enables visitors and others to easily donate to local organizations focused on the three areas most impacted by tourism: housing, food security and the environment.

By supporting Give for the Gorge, you’re supporting Gorge communities and natural ecosystems. Your donation will help:

  • preserve old-growth forests and watersheds
  • provide food for people in need
  • maintain hiking and biking trails
  • advocate for affordable workforce housing
  • protect farmland for the next generation
  • ensure there are abundant populations of fish and wildlife in the future
  • work to support a resilient and inclusive food system

Your gift, together with thousands of others, will be divided equally among the following Give for the Gorge nonprofit beneficiary organizations:

Cascades Carnivore Project

Columbia Land Trust

Columbia Riverkeeper

Friends of the Columbia Gorge

Gorge Grown Food Network

Mid-Columbia Community Action Council

The Next Door

Thrive Hood River

Questions?

How are Give for the Gorge funds distributed?

Donations to Give for the Gorge are divided equally among the eight recipient nonprofit organizations.

Is my donation tax deductible?

How were these organizations chosen?

Groups were chosen based on their strength in supporting the three priority program areas of Give for the Gorge: housing, food security, and the environment.

Will other groups be added in the future?

Yes, Give for the Gorge will be adding additional groups in the future once a financial target of $200,000 in donations has been met. This will allow participating groups to receive a meaningful level of funding before donations are dispersed among a larger number of organizations.
